Dr. Eva Lantsoght is the Vice Dean for Research and a Full Professor of Structural Engineering at Universidad San Francisco de Quito USFQ (Ecuador), as well as Associate Professor of Concrete Structures at Delft University of Technology (The Netherlands). She is a specialist in the safety and assessment of existing concrete infrastructure with a particular focus on load testing, and leads collaborative research projects across Europe and Latin America. She serves in leadership roles within IABSE, ACI and IABMAS, and is Editor-in-Chief of Avances en Ciencias e Ingenierías as well as Chair of the Editorial Board of Structural Engineering International.
