Dr Eva Lantsoght
Dr. Eva Lantsoght is a Full Professor of Structural Engineering at Universidad San Francisco de Quito USFQ (Ecuador) and Associate Professor of Concrete Structures at Delft University of Technology (The Netherlands). She is an international specialist in the safety and assessment of existing concrete infrastructure with a particular focus on load testing, and leads collaborative research projects across Europe and Latin America. She serves in leadership roles within IABSE, ACI and IABMAS, and is Editor-in-Chief of Avances en Ciencias e Ingenierías as well as Chair of the Editorial Board of Structural Engineering International. Author of more than 175 indexed publications, she is also the creator of PhD Talk, where she addresses the mechanics of doing research, PhD life, and general academic matters.
