
In Conversation with Chris Irwin
Chris Irwin is the Head of Digital Skills at Goldsmiths, University of London.
He began his career in 2017 after graduating with a BA in Drama and Film, joining Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance as a Graduate Intern in AV Support.
Chris later moved to Royal Holloway, University of London, where he worked as a Digital Media Technician and continued to build his career in higher education.
Passionate about supporting students, Chris is dedicated to teaching the digital skills they need to succeed. He has helped deliver a wide range of student performances, each as memorable as the next.
A major highlight of his career came in 2024, when he launched the Digital Skills Co-Curricular Programme.
Networking has also played a key role in Chris’ journey, leading to freelance opportunities and even the chance to travel to India to deliver workshops on interactive digital media.
