Adriano Marinho
Adriano Marinho is a second-year PhD student at the University of the Sunshine Coast, as part of the Engage Research Lab, in the Sunshine Coast, Australia. Adriano completed a Bachelor of Computer Science degree in 2010 and a Master of Science in Informatics degree in 2012, both at the Universidade Federal da Paraiba in Joao Pessoa, Brazil. Prior to commencing his PhD in May 2015, Adriano worked as a Software Engineer and Researcher at Vsoft, a software company based in Joao Pessoa, Brazil, mainly developing and researching biometric algorithms. Looking for new challenges that could help to improve people's lives, Adriano accepted the scholarship offer to do his PhD in the Engage Research Lab, moved to Australia and has been researching the positive and negative aspects of using new Virtual Reality technology since then.
